I'm Scarborough, Western Australian based, Yued/Nudju (First Nations) Yorga on Whadjuk Boodjar. I started making pottery as an artistic outlet in 2020, during one of the first Covid lockdowns. I've dabbled in photography over the years and needed something I could do at home, my love of native flora comes through in my pottery too.
Since then I haven't gone a single day either making or thinking about ceramics! I make all my pieces by hand with either the pinch, slab or coil method, sometimes a combination of all three to produce one of a kind items as individual as you.
If you or someone you know has space for my products locally in Boorloo (Perth) or would like to offer a market stall or commissioned , please get in touch to start the conversation.
To keep you in the loop of where my ceramics are available and when I restock my online store, please follow me on Instagram @jacintataylorfoster
